HI!... Can anyone identify some of these wheels? Mostly the billet aluminum ones. I know the one set is for a Hotshot/Hotshot II/Supershot. Anyone know who made them? The 3 holes ones I have no clue.

HI!... Also I beleive this RC-10 Sprinter is got a lot of homemade parts on it. But can anyone identify any parts on it? It's got RPM front arms on it. The rear arms are weird looking the center supports actually droop down. The chassis plate doesn't look custom, perhaps some manufacturer made it? Wheels and tires I have no clue. Body? Front bulkhead?

Thanks :

Neal.

Chassis and cage are typical Ascot/RCRC.. The side bars are stretched though.
Body is a McAllister Gambler.
Front bulkhead is RPM....dust it off and you'll see the branding. ;)
Front arms are RPM Truck conversion arms.
Red Wheels are from a Kyosho Sideways and the tires are MRC.

Aluminum wheels with more than 3 holes are Duratrax. Don't remember who made the 3 hole version but they're from a Japanese company. Silver painted dish are Prolines, green are Imex, silver below them are AJ's.

Edit: Forgot the motor...Trinity Speed Gems.

HI!... Thanks PHIN , for the info. I picked this up for $40. You would happen to have or know where I can see the roll bars unstretched? If I restore this I want it back the way it should be.

Thanks :

Neal.

They almost look custom to me but if not, maybe Phoenix brand as they used a similar style.

HI!... O.k thanks for the info.

So this is what I have come up with so far. Does this look about right?

- Ascot roll cage, chassis and headers.
- McCallister "Gambler" Sprint body/wing.
- 6 gear trans.
- Black RC-10 nose plate.
- Front bulkhead is RPM.
- Front arms are RPM Truck conversion arms.
- rc-10 Worlds rear arms.
- Red Wheels are from a Kyosho Sideways.
- Tires are MRC.
- Motor is a Trinity Speed Gems(12T).
- Tekin TRC 411P ESC.
- Futaba S3003 servo.
- RPM rear axle hubs.
- RC-10 hard anodized front shocks on all 4 wheels.

I've already contacted McCallister and they still make the "Gambler' body and wing. So I'll be ordering that soon. Think I'm going to run the Phoenix billet aluminum wheels I just got. Thinking all white body with bright orange accents to go with my vintage Parma "Hardee's" decal set. Might go a bright orange powder coat on the roll bar and front nose plate. I have some white RPM front/rear control arms I'll probably use. Debating if I'm going to run a 6 gear or a Stealth trans. I need to finish off a few more projects before digging into this one. Probably start collecting parts soon.

These are the Vintage Hardee's decals I'm thinking of using :

Also was it common practice to run one wider rear wheel than the other? I have 4 complete Phoenix billet aluminum wheels with tires. The front wheels and foams are identical. The rear wheels and foams are the same except one wheel and foam is 15mm narrower. Now I know the sprint cars go around a circle in one direction. Is maybe the wider wheel/tire go on the outside and the narrower one on the inside? Just seem weird that the guy bought a set with one narrower than the other.

You can see the set of wheels I'm talking about in the top right hand corner.
