alright, enough of this real car talk. let's get back to pissing and moaning about the fit and finish of this kit, and/or it's country of production.

The dogbone springs seem very, very stiff.

soft ones aren't gonna keep the dogbone shoved up in the outdrive all that great. if you're gonna lose a dogbone, that's the end it's gonna pop out.

The box that Tower boxed the RC10 box in might be from China. And they taped it too much. Or too little.

Guys just remember, Scr8p is the same guy who put a Ford Emblem on an Olds 442. Don't let him hide his true colors

LMAO! Back in the 90's (dont remember the model)one of their "fixes" for a wind noise was just that...black electrical tape.

Finally got mine today! Trying to get my 4 yr old to help me since he's the only son I have that is into cars. We made it to the chassis, nose and body post before he just wanted to put his hotwheels into the parts bags. We'll try again tomorrow!

Just need some Ritalin lol.

But seriously, that's awesome that he is taking interest and that you can build it together. That's the one thing this re re is missing- my dad yelling at me for building it out of order!

how many of you guys who have built an original rc10 (from a nib kit) and recently bought and built a rere think the rere is produced to a lower standard regarding fit and finish?

the only real difference i noticed (besides obvious changes like the shocks) is that the rere requirs no drilling of the servo posts. and imho thats better than the og.

I was 11 when I built mine, not sure that I can remember. Also I'm still waiting on a few parts before I break the seal on mine.
