It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I received my black rollbars I ordered to replace the factory red ones for a "custom" Tamiya Wild One I've started building. I've wanted to build one for a long time using no red parts.
On a related note, is there anyone on this site who can reproduce sticker sheets? I'd like to have the factory decals copied but nothing in red. Only gray, silver, white or a combination of the three.

I just love older sprint cars... Cobra Nemesis! Might clean this up and try it on dirt. It has direct drive, so not sure how that'll work out. Usually see stealths on the dirt. I have a bunch of carpet only cars.

Wow lots of exciting stuff landing on people's door mats recently!JK Racing wrote:scr8p still wins...Atomik V2MR & spare parts, happy birthday to me
I'm intruiged by your Atomik V2MR JK Racing - the market it seems is awash with mid motor 2wd buggies at the moment (especially on these shores), yet the Atomik is not one that I was aware of until now! I quick Google search reveals that it looks to be a rather smart peice of kit, front end looking very Tamiya-201ish - let me know how you get on with it

very cool .. if you make any more post/pics/vids about this truck (or any other pull post on this site)please let me know.like you im a big fan of how pull rcs are made but even a bigger fan of old school pull kits. i had a max traxx wedge that i sold years ago that i wish i still had..Lowgear wrote:This caught my eye on eBay last week and just had to have it. Seeing how decent pullers always go for hundreds of dollars I thought it was a great deal for $150 BIN. After being just listed and watching the number of page hits quickly rising I knew if I didn't pull the trigger someone else was going to. I've never actually done any pulling before but this will make the third one I've owned over the years. I really enjoy the engineering and craftsmanship that goes into them. This is by far the best one I've owned.
Pictures are from the listing:

I will be building it in rear motor. I spoke with a current TRF team driver, who also has his hands on this car (in prototype form), he said there are many, many interchangeable parts, direct swap (with the 201). I'm excited to build the shocks. Very reasonably priced for 12mm big boresDerbyDan wrote:I'm intruiged by your Atomik V2MR JK Racing - the market it seems is awash with mid motor 2wd buggies at the moment (especially on these shores), yet the Atomik is not one that I was aware of until now! I have only built the trans so far, will be taking pics & creating a build thread & how it actually performs on the track soon enough.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Cool, I look forward to reading your build thread, I've just started building my TeamC TM2, so shall perhaps create a thread for that. The Atomix seems very good value (especially as it seems to be so close in design to the more expensive Tamiya). It appears to be unlikely that I will be sold here in the UK given that the distributers for the brand also bring in Associated with the B4.2 - & offer the Centro mid-motor conversion as well as the Habao mid-mount 2wd as a more ecomical optionJK Racing wrote:I will be building it in rear motor. A set may find its way onto some of my vintage builds.

Some more stuff in the mail today......
A new unbuilt Axial Dingo crawler shell, which should be fun to put together...
...and some used Tamiya TL-01/ TL-01B / HSP parts, bits and pieces. Probably enough bits to put together a complete chassis.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I have been out of town working quite a bit lately so I haven't opened anything for a while. I had some free time today so I thought I would open some up.
I ordered the T4.1 Worlds with Big Bore shocks and a TC4 my son and I are going to use to make a COPA Camaro racer out of. The 4.1 is sealed with the shocks in it. It actually has the label #9040BB over the original. I found a NIB T4 Team and a T for a good deal as I am trying to collect NIB kits.

The Fox, Falcon, 9 RC10s black/gold/graph, Optima Mid SE EXT, Losi XXXT, B3, B4, 3 T4s, Evader BX, Evader ST, Buggy Champ '09, Sand Scorcher '10, RC10T, RC10DS

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Not RC-related, but I got a big box of parts today to finally start the Mitsu 4G63 6-bolt build for my 1G Eagle Talon.
OEM oil pump/front cover, OEM water pump, OEM multi-layer head gastket, OEM timing components, OEM balance shaft eliminator kit, Gates timing belt, ARP main studs and head studs. Now I just need to save another $1K+ for some pistons, rods, rings and bearings.
