I compiled this list of the evolution of the RC10 buggy from the documents I have at hand. I included the sources so you know where I got the data from:

Great thread and very valuable information....simply fascinating. That was my first thorough crash-course on the history of the RC10 which I really appreciate now that I have a re-re on back order.

Your welcome guys! We are constantly updating as any new information comes up!
I need to get the B2 and B3 done soon!.... I keep telling myself!
B4 would be nice as well!
Time! I need more time and motivation!
Thanks for the other info Steve but I don't remember the Novak t4 or Futaba radio ever coming with a TQ10? TQ10 was a Horizon exclusive, Futaba was a Great Planes proprietary right? I only knew the TQ10 as a kit! Is this not true? The B4 info will be very useful!

Same here, thanks for sharing all that info! I had no idea there was this much of a following for the "old 10", sure am glad I came here first. Had I posted my car on a generic forum seeking help, I'd probably have a brushless/lipo/2.4 set-up on the way to butcher it with by now..... Phew!

I picked up the info on the Futaba from the inside front cover of the TQ10 Graphite Manual, which shows electronics installed, and gives callouts of the electronics by name.slotcarrod wrote:Thanks for the other info Steve but I don't remember the Novak t4 or Futaba radio ever coming with a TQ10? I will change the list, however. After another look at the manual, in the steps regarding installing the electronics, it tells you to get the radio or speed control, etc., and suggests a few. So I'll take the electronics off the list for the TQ10 Graphite.
Thanks for bringing this up.

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (See page 1)
I am going to add photos to the article. I'm missing photos of three of the models (which are only as 4x5 transparencies right now). Do I have permission to borrow a few from this thread? I'd like to make attribution if possible.
(And, no, I DON'T have any pics of the re-re in my computer! I work on promotion, so I only get pics at the end when everything's finalized.)

I have some photos on this thread and you are more than welcome to use them, I would image the others would feel the same way.

Hi Steve! You sure can use photos from this thread! Most are mine, but many are from other members here. They have all given me permission to use them and I'm sure they would be very happy to have you use them as well! Just sorry about the poor quality on some of the pictures, sadly those are most of mine!
I have on my to do list, to take better pictures and replace them, but you all understand how hard it is to find time!
