This is the chassis from my recent pickup Ultima.... can anybody identify who made it? I've marked the extra holes with a red dot.....

I'm racking my brain trying to remember what me and my brother's best friends' had. We had our RC10 and they had a Hornet and this other 4WD chain drive car that I thought was pretty awesome. That's all I can remember about it though other than I think they painted it like the box and it was mostly white with some blue and red.

Oh, it was 1/10 so it wasn't a Kyosho Vanning Integra and it wasn't a Tamiya Hotshot (because those didn't have chains, right?)....although I thought they were pretty cool too.

Pretty vague, huh? Any ideas?

Not vague at all; you're probably describing the Kyosho Optima, which was the most kick-ass 4WD at the time. :)

Hmmm, possibly.

I keep thinking the name started with an 'A' though, whether that was the manufacturer or the model name itself.

The AYK Radiant was also chain-drive and came out a little after the Optima...but none of the box-arts I've seen were blue...
