I plan on using my old manual, the "right" way to build an rc10 is using two manuals! One with word and one with pics. Oh, and lots of supplements! Lol

Good writing and images are something I like, I read a lot. Novels, comics, newspapers, graphic novels, online blogs and feeds.

There is nothing like picking up a real book and reading it from start to finish. Mind you, that is nothing like a manual to build an RC project.

I agree, the included written material with some kits, is not what it not what it used to be.

It costs more to make a manual the old fashioned way.

I'd also take the new manual over one with Chinese hands or chicks hands assembling it and poor chinglish.

I guess all they really had to do was scan and reprint the old manual (with included suppliments of course)

Problem is the manual would have been so bastardized with supplements and new pics of the different parts it probably would have been pretty bad. I remember towards the end of the champ cars every single bag had supplements.

I did get one supplement with my kit, it was about lubing the diff tube or something (I don't read the regular manual, I'm certainly not going to start reading those extra slips of paper.).

Do they have the original two-book manual online? I have a PDF of the single book, it's very handy for the shape of the front sway bar.

My plan, at this point, is to use the kit decals, but not the box art paint scheme.
