Our company doesn't "do" raises anymore

at the last meeting I told them I didn't want a raise then, just pay me the same amount more often.

I just need to paint the body, install my electronics and some chassis protector for my runner. I'll post a pic later.

I think you will win on that one! I'm pretty close to having all of the AE parts that are needed. I'm just waiting for an order from amain to arrive.
I see you live in Wellington, I lived there for 3 and a half years before I moved to Perth. Loved it!
What made you move ?
Ed
I got home sick for Aus and needed more money.. NZ was great while it lasted tho. I'd definitely come back for the right job. I'm originally from Melbourne so Perth is even further from home than Wellington!

What is the "Metallic Plastic" on Shapeways? Is it just color or different material?

Metallic Plastic is Nylon Plastic filled with Aluminum dust. This dust gives Metallic Plastic the sparkle, but also makes the material more brittle than the Strong & Flexible material.

Material option "Metallic Plastic" is not recommended in any way. Certainly not to a runner. I just added the option to some parts if someone wants to make a special look.

I have only heard of the one broken arm, in a case where it sounds like a production arm would have snapped too. Have either of you heard any reports of broken pieces yet besides that one arm?

In the first race I broke one standard front arm when car in front of me got sideways and stopped completely just after a long full throttle double jump... so I crashed into it full speed... that was too much for standard geometry SLS arm.

My first two youtube videos got buried deep in original Stealth topic so I thought maybe it's time to put them here also...

Shapeways informed me they have problems printing "Shock Prep Set". Print success rate is now less than 80%.
I did not get informed what exactly is the problem. Those who ordered this set, can you identify that for me?
Maybe sprue is too weak and parts will get loose and lost? I'm going to pile these parts in a different way and update shapeways item soon...
Current version looks like this:
