I don't have much interest in the Scorpion because it was before my time, RC-wise. I am more of the original Optima and Ultima era. So the Scorpion only excites me due to the possibility that I may be able to buy a re-re rear engine Optima some day.

That does it. I resisted the urge (so far) to buy a re-re RC10 but I'm really going to have to get one of these!

Yeah, I think anyone who watches that video will be hard pressed to resist buying 1 of these things, especially for the price.

i want to get it since my pops has to originals, but enought parst ot make 1 good runner. PLus it broke on me. lol we got ours at Price Club back in the day. then we got our frogs after. he still has new in package parts and a body. and the gold can kyosho motor for it. First real RC car i played with. I have been searching ebay, but everything been out of my price range. So stoked for this.

ball diff from Ultima can be fitted??
That's the first I've noticed that (in the video)
Any big advantage to fitting that over what the kit comes with (which I presumed was a ball diff anyway)

if you look a pics it shows a gear diff and states it can be upgraded with a rb ball diff.
