Interested!
forgive me, I didn't read through ALL the pages-- is this kit going to replace the rear transmission, or will it entail modifying the OEM 6 gear trans?

i havent read the past few pages, but i'm pretty sure its going to the stealth-based legends lit, and use the stock associated steath tranny, just with a different idler gear.

That makes sense-- after finding this photo in another thread-- I can see the drive belt appears to come off the drivers side of the trans-
Does anyone have any detail shots of the setup? I've never heard of this kit before.

Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

Say, I didn't see it, probably missed it...but how many "versions" of the kit were there?
I remember at our local track one time years ago a guy showed up with a belt drive RC10....this was before the Stealth trans was intro'd.

No...it wasn't a Hyper-Drive...a few guys had those and I always wanted one. There was even a guy who raced quite a bit with an RC10 with a Radiant back half, so it had a chain drive trans.... It actually worked quite well on carpet.lexus-5 wrote:

It was an MIP 4wd kit....pre-Stealth days. Thinkin' back, it may have been a chain drive version???:?:

Re: MIP 4X4 kit for the RC10 - GAUGING INTEREST ONLY
The SP-2 kit chain drive kit came out for the short front suspension arms and used the MIP tranny. Then an SP-45 kit came out that converted it from chain to belt drive.
