You know... I don't think that was originally a wheel nut, looks like a blackfoot transmission bulkhead nutsert! At least I think that's where it came from, I know it fit into some plastic part so you could screw plates to it.

Well I have had one of those nutserts in my toolbox since the dawn of time it seems. I don't see them making a very good wheel nut however as the hex is far too small to stop the bearing (or bushing) from working into it and unscrewing it from what I would imagine the left hand one that fell off. Also being as they started with metric threads in them I don't think the rethreading to fit them onto the 4-40 rc10 axles would leave much strength in the long run. You are likely better off finding some aftermarket front axles for the hubs. I remember back in the day I chucked a set of blackfoot axles into the drill press and using sand paper resized them so they fit in the trx1 front spindles, perhaps something similar would work here in a pinch?

thanks guys .. ill problely be changing the front spindles back to jrxt and picking up a set of oem rims later and puting the alum rims up for sale as i want it to be a runner later ... ive got one if anyone needs it

I have had this front bumper in my junk box for years and have no idea what it is to, it appears to be an aftermarket bumper cut out of black kydex and does not appear to have seen much if any use.

It could be a JG bumper, or a copy of, for the Optima. The corners seems a bit more dull on the JG.
A bit strange that it´s counter sunk on the wrong side.
If it was ever mounted on an Optima and raced, it would show clear signs of it, leaving the impression of the front guard and stretched rear mounting holes.

I do believe that is the bottom of it in the picture as I can't imagine a car having negative front kickup, here is a side view also bottom (countersunk side) up. It's a bit blurry but *shrug*

Makes sense with the body post holes at the end, and it has a front design similar to other jg bumpers I have seen... the mounting point under the front end however is not one I can find.

That makes more sense - so the holes on the front corners would be for body posts.

The only car I can think of with a shape like that (kickup midway thru bulkhead) is the optima series, but with the sprocket hanging down I don't think a flat design would have fit it.

Definitely a oval bumper and because of the cutouts I'm thinking JG is right. Parma had similar but were typically not lightened

Looks a lot like a Rally style bumper, they always have the low chassis mount point and then kickup to a higher bumper end, to give clearance when jumping.

Just like the Rally Weapon and TC3 Rally conversion bumpers.

I'm with the rest who think it's for the Optima, maybe it was heat-gunned and modded to have that bend? Did JG make that bumper specifically for on-road, or did someone customize the usual offroad Optima bumper?

EDIT: Upon further examination, it looks like if that bumper was used on an Optima, it was moved forward and mounted using only 2 holes instead of all 4, as there's no way it would mount properly with that bend in it. My guess is it's a modded JG Optima bumper.
