If anyone wants one of these bad enough, I'll sell my unopened kit for $259 which is what I paid for it. Just not feeling the whole rere thing right now. :(

HI!... O.k so I just bit the bullet and bought one. A birthday present to myself. Turned the big 40 today. Haven't bought a NIB car for a long time now. Should be here by next weekend. Paid $259.00 with free shipping. Going to build it and it will be a shelf queen. Deciding on how I want to build it. With vintage motor, and electronics or with brushless motor, ESC and dummy LiPo.

So I was right... I didn't pre-order, figuring that there would be some in stock somewhere. But now I'm onto a different project, and I don't want one. Still tempting, though... Ah well, maybe later. New or used, original or re-release, when I feel the need for another RC10, there will be plenty around.

I am waiting til my LHS has them in stock. (Actually in the city).

I know they will get here eventually, if it is the end of October then be it. I have all stinkin winter to build one and enjoy it. The second and/or third will sit.

I have built many kits from new, but this will be my first RC10 buggy. Looking forward to it.

It is funny, sitting here in the UK I can just click to buy a new RC10 which will be delivered tomorrow. Pretty cheap too. I have the funds sitting here for many. But I am not going to, as I prefer my custom black carbon RC10. Also I do not believe the "limited" hype at all. This is going to sell out big time at xmas. Now there is a Chinese factory line they can turn out millions as they wish - just make a phone call for more. So I say buy 'em, thrash 'em, then replace them. Don't get hung up on collecting / rarity / future values as you will end up disappointed, IMHO.

mine got charged ( CC) but when I looked at my orders at towers, it says Invoiced, Awaiting Product From Manufacturer.
Funny thing,,,,,,,,,, when I check the status at towers, it says, limited run, limited quantities.

don't get it.

Do you know what "IMHO" means? Nothing humble about your response....

Just got my two in yesterday from tower. I opened one. I did not go too far into the box yet but it looks great.
I think it's funny how many people are cancelling there orders or crying about this and that. I wanted to thank associated and this site which I'm sure played into the choice for associated to build this car again. I dont care where the parts or pieces were made or boxed. I have a brand new rc10 to build and until now I could not have done this for less than a grand for a nib og kit from fleabay. I have over 20 rc10s. All different flavors . The Re Re will find a home with all the old school cars in my collection.

I'm happy to see the car finally in my hands now to build one of the two.

By IMHO, I mean I am willing and prepared to be proved wrong. It may well turn out to be limited, I just personally doubt it very much. I also accept you may love the rere way more than anything I may personally construct. It is merely an opinion either way, no big deal. Hell, fill your boots and be happy. I, like others, are simply not blown away by the hype :)
