Pretty porshe! I've always favoured them over other high performance cars. I've been changing my perspective lately though and I'm not sure why. Lately I've been eyeing a lot of muscle cars. I'm not sure if it's because of the production of the modern muscle cars or not...humm.
On a side note, my truck is a continuing evolving project. Lately I'm added the rear CBI Offroad bumper, made a Satoshi grill and installed an air compressor under the hood.

Thanks man! Not too much left to do to it, rock sliders and a snorkel. I can't wait to buy a 4x4 specifically for the trail. This one is a great work truck and is trail capable, but there are no lockers and the wheel base is way too long.

Yeah, I've got the same truck, albiet stock 2WD, a TRD Sport Long Bed 4-door. I wanted the longbed cause I used to ride motocross bikes, but now wish I had the short box Off Road package. The truck is just too long for my taste, its a bitch to park, I have no idea where the back of it ends

Lol, try having all that junk in your trunk. Mine has a reverse camera that was in the tailgate, so I extended the wires and relocated it to the center of the spare tire. Because it's so high, I still second guess if I'm going to hit something. I chose the long box because it's a work truck and I haul a lot of gear to the well sites. Otherwise it would have been access cab short box for me.

Normally a toy, but its my DD, bought sept 1st 2012, at 37k since then. 70 miles 1 way to work. (hemit to IRvine). only 2 months no riding from an accident. This day bought pic, only mod is reflective tape on the wheels. and tail eliminator added
My other baby, bought in May 2013.
Day brought home
Some mods over the year
peep mirrors
HEadlight moutn location and brackets
When i cut out the rest of wheel wells for tie rod clearance, will close it up
Taillights. need to mount still
Had to Sticker
Welded dash shut, 68 so all vents, and padding holes welded shut, radio and lighter and ash tray welded shut, Radio in glove box with a 64 glove box, added usb ports for phone charging, Rewired whole car, added vdo gauges, Speedo been rolled back to zero. Future is to mount this Bus shifter,
Current paint job
I moved, so day i towed to new garage, tow bar had about 1-2 inches clearance, car has an 8 inch strech, with 2.5 inch drop in it. and a stock to 3" down front beam, lowered about halfway
In her new garage next to my RC addiction, my rc loft next to her. Front trunk is from an earlier 66 i had, (just have that cars pan, so a second bug later. and all the black will be chalk board paint.
Future plans, 69 irs chassis, hopefully airbags, and 1935 or so 16" ford model A wire wheels.
Dream goals, # inch chop top. # inch Body drop or channel on pan and a 3" body section removed, to toal yup 9" lower top to ground.

Very cool volks rod! Are you going to bring it to the vw classic in June? I should have my 55 out there.

Most likely not, Still have work to do to get her legal, safe and running right. hopefully towards end of summer. Ill take her out alot, since it will be my only vehicle besides the bike, so it will go to the tracks with me also.mk-Zero wrote:Very cool volks rod! Well Adam and I finally got the engine and trans, drive shaft and headers put into the track/auto-x car. We also finished running the brake lines and bleed them out, about 5 full days of work to get it ready to start up.

Looks great! Keep updating!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
Brought home a 2014 Camaro SS this weekend! I finally have a real muscle car! This will be a garage queen and driven mostly for weekend outings and fast food runs. Can't wait to start on some mods! Hopefully I'll be able to drag myself away from it for a while and finish off some of my RC car projects.
It has the 6.2L 426 horse V8 with a six speed manual and limited slip rear. Also has Brembo disc brakes and quad exhaust outlets.
