I ordered the MIP cvd/diff/puck drive kit over a week ago from Stormer, hopefully it should arrive soon. But, I am a little weary about running aluminum axles.

Just eliminating the VTS 3 pad slipper and steel top shaft was worth over 20 grams, the lightweight gears was another 3-4 grams. It wasn't just for rotating mass, that was weight that sits up pretty high in the car.

I'm also not too crazy about having the esc shelf mounted, it sits up way too high. I'm going to relocate the receiver move the esc down in its place.

Has anybody tried cutting down the FT graphite truck chassis? Maybe it could be made even narrower to compensate for the stiffness of the graphite.

Planning on this for my next project.

Checking the b5 and T4 have close to the same length B5 11.06" T4 11.34. Would a B5 body fit without much modification?

The epoxy is still drying(24 hours later)... If it does not dry I will grab some JB weld and go at it again.
