Re: 93 WCS poss ran at 93 Worlds UK? KO Decals added, page 1
So this (very long term) projects feels like its coming to a conclusion.... over the last few months I have managed to find a few of the final parts that I had been on the look out for, for this build - namely a KO PS1001 FET servo in good condition, a pink KO Propo servo horn & an RCPS sticker (although I think the correct decal colour for the Masami shell should be the neon red colour?)

Unfortunately I hadn't managed to be in possession of these parts in time for the car's photo shoot with the UK based 'Racer' magazine - for a restoration review article on my car... which was finally printed in the latest June issue

The editor of Racer magazine kindly sent through all the studio images that he took of my Yokomo in Hi-res - most of which didn't appear in the magazine, so though I'd share some of the best on here....

Hi Reggie - yes it was a full 4-page article - I effectively wrote the piece - with some editing by the (Iconic) column writer - so that its reads from a 3rd person perspective. You got a mention as someone who helped me along the way with the projectCharlie don't surf wrote:Very well deserved! Full article?

Hey,
Haven't been on the site for years, literally.... Had a big break.
Glad to see you kept going with your build. Really awesome.
I wish I had the same dedication as you. My WCS is in the same box as when I gave you info at the start of your project.....
I got the body painted though. I had the chance to visit Masami's very own painter, near Osaka in Japan some years ago. Will post a couple of pics if I can find the body. The guy still had all the templates for Masami's paint scheme from the '80s and '90s. That's was unreal. Unfortunately for me, he kinda screwed up with some colours. I was a bit disappointed at first to be honest, but I like to think it's an authentic paint job
