that was the word that I heard, no clue on when they are re-stocking though.

Received my two 10 minutes ago. Opened the box that had the crinked label on the bottom. Love it but their is no mistaken it for the original. The tops of the chassis sides are beveled and the logo is different. Didn't measure but the thickness looks a little less. Mmmmm, smell that fresh lexan and rubber.

Got my two kits today, haven't opened them yet, but Tower packed them well with bubble padding. I'll open one and build, the other will likely stay sealed indefinitely.

I remember ordering mine the day after the announcement from this thread and following the updates like when someone posted the link to Tower's website. Once they were pre-orderable on Tower (and I happened to be up around 2am) I put my order in (for 3 originally).

Glad I was one of the first to get in line.

I called Tower today to ask what was going on with the changes in status ('mid October' to 'on hold' to 'on order', etc). I was told they had taken a ton of pre and back orders and are just going to get them out as they come in, but they couldn't tell me how long it was going to be, where somebody was on the list, etc., but she did say that they were still taking back orders and they 'hope' the limited run goes on long enough. There will probably be a lot of upset people if they took a back order that they couldn't fill, and unless something is a super-special "x of 1000" type limited editions, there is ZERO sense in doing a limited run of something that keeps selling out, so I don't think this will be that limited of a run.

If it wasn't for all of these ebay re-sellers, maybe some of us who actually wanted a kit would have received it on time.

I haven't received any e-mails from Tower, so mine probably isn't coming. But their website lists the stock as:

Limited Quantities
