...I think Top Gear reported that it cost Volkswagen around £5,000,000 (yep five million pounds) to build each Veyron which sell for £840,000, I think that's going to be a right off.

Bc the marketing is worth way more then the loss on the cars.... hence they only make like 10 of those.

I understood they made 250 to 300 ( this guy has 11 for sale http://www.innovationcars.com/blog/11-bugatti-veyrons-for-sale/ ), if they sold everyone for the retail price (and some would be lost to crash testing) by my poor math that would be a total loss of £1,245,000,000 I don't know how to even say a number that big, one h3ll of a marketing bill.

How did the accountants allow them to do that then?

Like climbing the proverbial mountain, to prove they could create and build the worlds fastest production car, hence the numbers in excess of 200 (I think this is the magic number when a car can be classed as production rather than a special, from the days of group B rally cars RS200 etc, but I might be wrong )
