I wouldn't say that rather it's just going to move slowly due to retooling and such right off the cuff.

I for one would buy one, I just need to know how many people would also purchase one if reasonably priced. Thanks for your input!
Count me 2!

I spoke with Eustace via mail over the last week - there are "several projects" happening at the moment. One on the list is a 4X kit for the RC10.

I know when it does happen tha tthe pricing will be more than fair - and that Eustace is passionate about the history of not only his products - but also the hobby.

I've got a disassembled RC10 that I would LOVE to convert to 4WD.

In case it matters...I'm fer it!

Any chance this would ever come down into the $100 range? I'm not a die hard collector, but it would be nice to have one of these kits to play with and use, instead of just sitting on the shelf.

$100 is a budget for a second hand Hornet. It would be impossible to produce for that even in large quantities.

It would be interesting to know about the "several projects" that are also happening.

I'm sure there will be a few RC10's getting converted here in Aus.

The original kits usualy fetch around $1000. Not that this is what MIP are targeting but to supply a front gearbox and all the necassary hardware for a kit like this I think we are all thinking anywhere between $300-$500 is a safe bet.

There are several "vintgage orientated" projects that MIP have in the pipeline, none confirmed at this stage. However, having spoken on the phone with Eustace, I can assure you that the pricing of the kits and parts will be more than reasonable.

Eustace said to me that he cannot believe the prices being paid for SRB differentials on auction sites , he said they could retail for UNDER $50 with no problem when re-produced including better materials. I cant make comment at this stage on the cost of the conversions, however lets say that I was surprised when Eustace gave me an estimate - a GOOD surprise.................

I have been running my "Legend" for a couple of years now, it truly is an awesome bit of kit to drive, I hope that when the conversions are released there will be a few more joining in running this car. I know I will run mine allot more, especially in mod motor class. (Actually I will probably retire my original and build a re-re and buy some spares at a reasonable price) The re-re will have some improvements to materials and design, so it will make driving a genuine original a whole lot less "sphincter pinching" when you have a "moment"!! It sure will be nice to have some spares available for sure. 8)
