I could be wrong but i believe Schumachers are that size too. You made me think of that when you said TC3 buggy. I konw for fact that my TC3"o" uses them for the front. Also check out MRC. I know their 4wds use hexes.

Hpi super nitro rs4 wheels are an awesome 12mm 2.2 wheel.

I've used them for a tc3 buggy and my reissue hotshot.

Those are ifmar pins or ifmar studs (losi) in front and proline step pins in back.

A note on the front wheels - you have to cut the inner bead ring out of the fronts to make them narrow;and mount the outside of the tire bead to the inside of the inside wheel bead.

Cool...I'm not worried about the fronts - since my astute is only 2wd, I just need the tires in the rear

Is everybody planning to run 2.2's in the buggy class? I haven't settled on tires yet, and a lot of my older ones are getting hard. I might have to break out of my strict vintage mold for once. Ah, who am I kidding, I doubt that will happen.

What about frequencies? Is there any advance planning for this? Since I haven't been involved in real organized racing since 1993, my crystal selection is pretty much down to one. I'm on FM 87. I'm considering bringing my old Airtronics stick radio to run in one of the classes, just for nostalgic reasons, it's on AM 64. Should I be buy an extra FM crystal set?

Oh man, it's good to hear that they'll be other people with racing rust, I haven't raced off road for ages, and what I raced was carpet sedan for about a year.

I wanted to know, are these going to be 5 min heats?? the reason I ask, is because I'm planning on running 3300 mah nimh batteries, they're in good shape and hopefully with the brushless they'll last me a bit longer

What spare parts would you guys recommend I buy?? Suspension Arms, steering knuckles, hubs, Shock towers??, what else guys, like I said before, I'm not too experienced in the off road racing.
