that's like the newer high tech version of bare-assing the office printer.
All b.s. aside that sounds really cool, but waaaaay outside my technical abilities.

If they could use the data from an MRI scan for 3D printing then the driver could have both my knee's and my right shoulder

I've been very happy with this one. Lots of options to mess with to set it up to your liking. Some of the bulbs were bigger than the holes in the buckets, but a little drilling and clearancing solved all that. It didn't include enough lights to light up the side markers, but it would be very easy to add 4 more little leds into the system. I have mine set with turn signals, brake lights, backup lights fog lights and high/low beam headlights. Everything comes on when its supposed to. I'm horrible with electrical stuff, but this was pretty easy to install. Even the directions were decent.

Good and bad today , the good was the Absima 55t motor , really pleased it seems unstoppable , barely notices gradients or obstacles and really slows it down , I might go up a few teeth on the pinion to regain some speed in high gear .
The bad was the cheap supposedly Tamiya lighting kit from eBay , the headlights I like as well as the indicators , they were all the right size and color but all the tail lights were 5mm not 3mm , the brake light is blue for some reason and the rear lights go off if you hit the brake or go into reverse , the reverse light was working as it should and the right color but in 5mm not 3mm , as for the lights on the front and rear wings and front bumper there were no lights at all in the kit despite the bruiser being mentioned in the advert !
I've ordered red , yellow and clear LED's in 3mm and I'll piggy the red rear lights and front bumper lights to the headlights so they are on all the time , piggy the front wing lights to the front indicator with yellow LED's ( that's how we have them in the UK ) , I'm not sure what to do with the rear wing lights , we don't have them over here , maybe have them red and on full time as well but that means the board would be running 6 additional lights piggy backed to the headlights so taking 4 times the strain ... Not sure .

Over here we call colored leds behind a clear lens "euro style", so that makes sense.

I had the same trouble with 5mm bulbs where I needed 3mm with my lighting kit. I just drilled them out.

I might drill out the holes and use the 5mm red LED's as brake lights as they should be brighter than the 3mm ones , do they not protrude too much into the light lenses ?

It just made it where it doesn't screw down all the way on the inside. Looks half-assed, but it's solid and up inside the corner of the body where you never see it.

It's a shame really but much of the stuff sold on ebay is complete junk -- I've discovered the hard way. I got a set of mirrors for my sport bike once that were probably only good enough to snap a photo to use with the ebay ad. They were total garbage and completely unusable. I should have returned them but instead just tossed them in the trash. Lesson learned.

Well I drilled out and fitted the brake and reverse lights , I filed down the ends on the LED's so they fit under the lenses and could be screwed up fully , I'll fit the red 3mm LED's as rear side lights as they should look dimmer than the 5mm ones especially as I've filed about 3mm off the red plastic difuser from over the actual light up bit .

I've been pretty lucky when it comes to the cheap ebay stuff. I've had mostly positive experiences with rc parts, but it's always a bit of a gamble.

Typically I found an Ampro YouTube review today of a good set of lights of eBay for about the same price so if I overload this set by adding the extra lights then I'll get the other next month but I'm optimistic that I'll get away with the extra load , its only LED's after all .
Its pretty cool already , I feel like a kid because I'm kicking myself that I forgot to take it outside in the dark this evening and now its too late

.

haha... I just did that -- I should have taken a photo. They look very 1:1 all lit up.
Got a link to that ampro review??

That's the review of the good unit , he tests 6 different units if you want to have a look but this one is best on a budget , there is one in review 6 that's better but 4x as much money .
