Nothing at all etched on it....but I can tell u this, if I could get in the DeLorean and go back to the 80s, I would buy an rc10 A stamp, bearings, this motor and a Novak 1 esc and call it a day, guaranteed win

I have a few 16 Triples, and they all perform well. I think (based a little bit on nostalgia) that wind is probably my favorite overall. Back in around 1986/87 it was considered a must-have hot hot motor. I bought a Demon 16 Triple at that time and still have it.
I generally see around 35,000rpm from my 16Triples, although one stand out is a team MG motor which looks like an old bag of spanners from the outside, but performance is pretty wild!
Back on to Revolution motors though - my WetMag IV is one my motor builder took a particular shine to. 39,000rpm but at a very mild 1.8amps.

Whilst we're on the Revolution subject, i don't think I have posted this up on my thread yet.....
Been after an Insane 15 Double for ages, and finally found a really tidy one. Not rebuilt/tested it yet, but it has the factory etch marks on the can base.

My Losi double turn, which I think is an Insane..has no engravings and only this “I” on the armature.

I thought can engravings we're all added by the person that purchased the motor. I don't remember new motors from any maker ever having engraving in the can finish.

Mine as well. But like Ed mentioned, I always thought the engravings were from the purchaser and not from the factory/maker.

I have my original WetMag IV which came with the engravings from when i opened the packet so I can confirm they were there from the factory.
They all look the same. I have a WetMag IV, WetMag II and an I now all of which have them.
I actually make a point of looking out for the markings now and if i buy others i will ensure they are the marked examples.

As well as the Revolutions, Mick Goddard used to engrave all motors he built, including spec and his signature.
Also the Checkpoint Platinum Series had the wind details etched into the alloy endbells.

That's actually really excellent that several manufacturers did markings. It's frustrating not knowing the specs of unmarked motors
