umm... that looks really yummy. No doubt you americans, canadians, australians.. are the kings of barbecues!THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:Did ribs last Saturday. I was busy with company so I didn't get any after pics. Anytime I fire up the smoker I throw on a batch of sausages to take to work for lunch the next week too.I really feel like I've been neglecting my big smoker, but I've been using the electric for the last year in order to get it good and seasoned. It's really starting to develop some flavor all it's own. Same reason I just keep rebuilding my gas grill. Use after use really builds character and flavor in a grill. I actually measured (kinda) my rub this time too, so I'll post it here soon in case anyone wants to try it.
Did ham and cheese paninis tonight. Swiss and Cheddar on yeast rolls. Very good. The Panini maker is the best 20 bux I've ever spent. Endless possibilities.![]()
Don't forget the South Africans.... they do a mean braai (BBQ)....mamadoesn`tletme wrote:No doubt you americans, canadians, australians.. are the kings of barbecues!
I'm looking forward to making them with some 'vegan prawns' one day.... but yes, they were very tasty nonetheless. Remarkably easy to make, too..... as long as you budget ingredients to stuff the first one up (happens every time!), and have no problem with them not all looking the sameDiamond Dave wrote:I could eat 20 of those! I know there is no tasty life forms in them, but imagine some shrimp or BBQ pork in there!
Probably just as tasty they way they are. I need try and make them one day.
