You should, there's a bit more to it than wheeling. And even when they do go wheeling often it's light wheeling unless you have taken the courses.

$50 a year is not bad!
I think you would find that the toyota guys are almost as good as the RC10talk guys

The real benefit is that the majority of them are based locally. They have taught be how to tread lightly and I changed my puddle over the hood days to more of a crawling over rocks kinda thing. Just the other day at the rig I showed a Ford guy the same thing. He said that he's never wheeled without hitting big puddles and tearing it up.
Here is a shot
Did you mention my name to the CT4WD guys, just wondering if the knew who I was?

Vintage AE thats cool!!
Well the reason I came to the thread is I have made some progress on my Wraith build. its not as cool as yours but its getting their. waitting on parts SUCKS!! but got a few in today, this is the Last car I will build from parts

it would have been cheaper and a lot faster to just buy a kit.

even with all of the parts I got from you I want even close.
but I dont know if it would be as fun? I needed a body and theirs really not that much body on a wraith for the 50 bucks it would have cost me to have it shipped in. So I bought a for aluminum sale sign a long time ago I never used it, I took the stock body I got from vintage AE and used it for a pattern and cut this one out of the sign, just to see if I could do it. it cost me .75 cents

I just cut ther aluminum with my Lexan sizzers.

I have a lot more coming and a lot more to order.

all of the front caster blocks and steering blocks, drive shafts are all on the way. I need to get some screws. I also picked up this little Gem in a trade from another member a few weeks ago. its a sx10 with a Proline cage on it it has stock wheels on it I didnt get the paddles. I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do with it. but its going to be a fun little build.
I didnt forget your bumper I still havent gotten back in the shop yet. but I will be their this weekend.
I also ordered these wheels for the Wraith, waitting on them also. they are cool and are on sale for 14bucks a pair.

took a few new pictures of the SX10. I think I am going to put a Jeep Cj body on this one. this buggy is almost ready for some serious offroad action. it is very well built. I am just going to clean it up and do some paint and put a CJ body on her. I have 3 sets of the JunFac I really like them even though it takes a while for them to get here from Korea they are worth the wait for the money.

Made a little progress tonight on my Wraith. now I am normaly not a big bling guy but the more I put on here the more I want.

these Topcad parts are pretty nice. I am going to get the matching shocks and links. and I am going to be done. I am also working on a tailgate for the open space in the back.

Lovin' those orange parts and the aluminum panels!
Rick, you can get a lot of Junfac parts from U.S. distributors...RC4WD sells some parts under the
G-made name. I ordered parts directly from Junfac years ago and they arrived quicker than orders from U.S. companies.

Yea Junfac is great thats were I ordered my wheels for my Bronco and this Wraith, the Wraith ones havent got here yet. But I ordered all of the orange parts from AsiaTees Hobbies they are not as fast like 3 weeks per order. and this stuff is adding up and together isnt cheap. so as I have money I order a few peices at a time. I still want to get the orange links and shocks. its funny the shocks are very cheap but I think the link sets are almost 30 bucks each. and you need two sets. so the shocks and links are almost another 100buck order. next time I will just buy the Wraith kit it, wouldnt look as cool but would have been a whole lot cheaper.

I still need to find a cool set of tires I found these pitbulls I like.

lol, Rick, now you know why I sold off my extra Wraith parts...to afford more bling to finish the build. The Wraith seems to find a way to drain the pocket book and fast. Looks great though, good job!

My biggest problem is I now have a SCX10, AX10, and a Wraith all made by the same company but it seems none of the parts carry over their all different

they must be owned by Ford

I guess thats whay I love my Losi's so much the parts crossover.

You know I really want to Rant but I wont to bad. I remember when I got in this hobby it seems like everyone made bodies for everything. now a days it seems your stuck with stock not much else. and dont even get me started about wheelbase. thety should list it. I and count how many boies just for the wheel base to be off by 1/4.

Well I got my front shocks on order. I think thats it for the aluminum parts. I want the links but I dont think I can swing another 75 bucks on this build this is the most expensive truck I have ever built. but it has been one of the best. I ordered this body for the wraith but then I found this link for skinzs, I cant decide I lone the red flames and the Warbird Warhawk ones I cant decide what to do. I think I will put the Jeep body on the AX10. but I cant decide on the wraith what do you guys think?
