The hyperspeed versions were awesome! Good memories of them! Never ran a standard bike, but probably still faster than the kyoshos

I had one of those Royal ZX7's. I remember putting a single gold short AE shock on the rear, a high turn Speed Gem of some sort. I think I even added bearings. Cool RC bike!

USPS says my box of goodies was dropped at 10:59 am, but we watched the post man drive to the mail box, drop letters and leave. He didnt drop off my 12 pound box o' fun :(

Cant contact them until tomorrow to see what's going on.
Mis-delivered to the house across the street :) at the right home now.

Came back from vacation and found these. Also have some JG RC10 oval conversion parts for a project I'm about to start.

1/12 Bolink factory painted Chevy Monza GT new in package. Not a scratch on it either!

Project coming soon!

1/10 Bolink TOJ new in package. I never knew this body was made in 1/10. I thought it was 1/12 and the seller wasn't sure so I bid and won it for a song. I have plenty of RC10l candidates for restoration so I'll put it to use anyway.

I saw the chevy monza GT on ebay, I think you got a great deal considering condition. I picked up a Brand new Team Associated RC10T4 factory team kit for $117, I was expecting to pay $200.

It was definitely a good deal, surprised I wasn't outbid. My e-Bay luck has been terrible lately.

I even thought about bidding, I am glad I didn't for your sake! There can't be many of those around in new condition.

I received quite a surprise from a major retailer today. Opened a Viper VTX10 and motor combo and look what I found... not a joke. I've contacted the vendor and it's on the way back. Not a great start for me back into RC cars after 20+ years.

Whoever did this is

Not me, was watching it though. I figure the eight or so I have now will suffice. I'm watching something RC10 oval related at the moment.

Unfortunately the body was already painted by Bolink. It's not a bad job, but some of the white is rough around the edges. I've never successfully removed paint from a body so far so I'm leaving it. I plan on airbrushing details on the exterior and using some fine auto body striping tape to clean up the lines. I've been a scale modeler for many years so I feel I can pull it off without too much issue. Once I finish up my Corvette project I'll start on the Monza build.
