I especially like the holes in the battery cups. Think of the weight savings!

that losi was actually a pretty common sight back then, not many survived. I might have done 2 or 3, but I'm not proud I was only 15 :D :D

Yup,

I got one of those too...

It was butchered before I got it.

A good friend gave it to me with a bunch of DS parts that I set aside for a future project...it was butchered before he got it.

It use to be a gold "B" chassis anyhow. I'd cry if it was an earlier version.

I'm still shopping for a reasonable replacement for a possible DS runner. My shelfer will stay pretty...

What I'm most curious about is whether drilling all those holes really makes much difference in weight, AND, even if you get a weight savings, there's got to be increased drag because of all the holes as opposed to a smooth surface. Regardless, can you really get a discernible difference in performance by making Swiss cheese out of the chassis?

That is actually not a bad looking chassis at all.

Sure, you can absolutely make a big difference in performance with some of these mods. Especially on the molded chassis.

Oh wait, I’m sorry, did you mean a positive difference??? :P
