TN people are the nicest I've met. Eric Anderson from EA Motorsports was the first I ever met. How far are you guys from Murfreesborough (sp) anyway?

I'm still working on Holiday Inn Express but it's been hard without knowing how man people need rooms.

Eric races with us at the local tracks, very nice and always willing to help out. Murfreesboro is about 15 miles from my work.

He's definitely good people. If you see him soon please tell him I said Hi. As for Holiday Inn I'm going to call one more time tonight and see if I can work something out. I'll let you guys know for sure.

PS. It would help if you guys could give me a rough idea of how many are coming from out of town. My guess based on the last few years was about 5-10 hotel rooms.

I already booked at the holiday inn express. Stayed there the last 2 trips, very easy access to the track.

Thanks for letting me know Rick. You were one of the ones I forgot to count from last year. I called the sales dept today and played phone tag with them but I will talk to them tomorrow first thing. I'm sure they can adjust any already reserved rooms as well. I'll discuss that with them as well.

Anthony PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remind me the week of the race to bring your trophy from last year. I unpacked and found it so I still have it for you.

NEW OFFICIAL SPONSORS!!!

Tamiya
Team Associated
Tekin
Team Trinity
RCTVLive
RC10Talk.com

More to come soon!

I'm also excited to announce yet another new class for 2010!!! For those of you who want to put down the ponies, this year the Vintage Nationals has just the class for you! Introducing 2WD SUPER STOCK. Rules allow for more loosely "vintage" cars and much higher power. Here are the rules:

2wd Buggy Super Stock
Open to ROAR legal Brushless or Modified Brushed motors
Open modification
MUST RUN VINTAGE BODY
Radio gear "electronics" are open.
Tires/wheels are open
Li-Po batteries are allowed.

This is for the serious racer who wants to come and see just what these vintage machines could do in top form.

Fixed it for you... (Sorry for the rolleyes guy, but there's no **sigh** guy.)

BTW I read this post just after including this in a PM to another member:
I don't think I'm going in Sept. I want to wait a while and see if they get a more 'true vintage' class going. I want to race my Hotshot against Samurais, Mini Mustangs and Optimas.... not some Yokomo that is 95% the same as a modern B44 or XXX-4.

One more edit: I am not complaining... have fun everyone! Mark & Jon at RCHR run a super nice track and Erich puts on a great event. I just was hoping for more period-matched classes... maybe someday it will be a big enough event for that to happen. Bonne chance!

:?: :?: :?: :?
So the past two years I was mistakenly placed in 4wd with my Hotshot?

Brandon ran a 2wd Frog last year. Tamiya Hornet, Frog, Falcon, Kyosho Icarus, Raider, Academy Road Runner, Hirobo Bearcat, Marui Galaxy, World Engines Rockbuster, AYK Bobcat.... those fit the Classic class you have in the rules. You missed my point I guess.
Keep up the good work and have fun at the races!
