I use to use a couple of Peak Sanyo SCRC 2400 packs and they had very good power.

I'm very happy with 2 venom 3000 packs that I got for $20 a piece. Amazing how much more run time than the old 1500 sport packs I had.
true.. i was at my parents house today running old 3300 race packs ,much more fun...but i only have nicad chargers at my house and dont want to spend the cash on nimh charger(i think the cheapest is like $60)..anyone make nicads higher then 1900??
Hey longboardnj (is that long board as in surfing or skateboarding?)

anyway when I got my first NiMh batteries I charged them on my NiCd charger no problem. Heck one of the chargers I still use today is a Tekin BC210 and it shuts off with my NiMh on time every time. Of couse if you don't want to risk it you should check
THIS AUCTION out.

Good luck, Chewie.

i think that AUCTION was for the radioshack battery and 5 hour charger. i wanted to buy radioshack batterys cause they have sales on nicads higher then 1900 but i dont think they sell them without the 5 hour chargers ..no use for me cause i cant wait 5 hours :D ...and longboardnj was a name given to me along time ago cause l was really into skateboarding.. id buy longboards or bigger 80s style boards, some id get bigger then i wanted and cut and shape them the way i want.. i was not much for tricks, mostly liked it for transportation.. i had 5 complete skateboards(and alot not complete) each set up for different transportation..from a small longboard cut down smaller for nyc rides to a big longboard cut to fit 100mm razor scooter wheels and wide trucks for the big nj trips.. after 25 years of sk8ing the name has stuck and i still have most my stuff but i dont get on them much any more..

I hear you with hardly getting on the board anymore. I still have 2 longboards and one regular skateboard. My current favorite is my Sector9 Sidewinder Longboard. Really nice. A lot of the Quicksilver shops carry them if you want to check them out. Really cool trucks mounted on those.
