Thanks a01,
I have a decent 12e chassis.........but I like mint.
I also have a line on a WS radio tray but it is not cheap (was that tray $22 retail?)
So let me think about what I want to do - 12e was my first car.............

Sweet build up. Got a question, how do you safely go about cleaning original used parts? My old 12e from ebay is supposed to be delivered today and I'm chomping at the bit to start cleaning it up and hopefully getting it running. Also, any tips on locating an original radio tray and original bumper and about how much do they run? Thanks.

You can clean anything as good as it's going to get with Simple Green. I have sometimes cleaned whitre parts that have black grease in the hinge pin holes with WD40 and then finish with the Simple Green.

As far as the radio tray if you are looking for really great looking white Kydex well I don't know where to find it. Keep watching eBay but who knows how long that will take. I personally have not seen any nip white kydex radio trays come up since I started playing with the 1/12 scale beauties, I have occasionally seen new bumpers come up but its once again is a rare occasion. I have run into a couple of radio trays and even new chassis in fiberglass. If interested you can pm me and I can give you more info.
