It looks tops all together. theminipins from ballisitic give it that 'extra' serious (they didn't work too well for me for anything but grass sofar, but heck looks count too )

Great looking car , i really like those HPI 5-spoke rims.

They're awesome on Astroturf (artificial grass)

Check out kamtec online and you will find an identical shell to the one on your zxr

I did this to move the weight from the side of the chassis to a more central location so making the car handle better on the jumps and this also aided the cornering characteristics (I may have spelt that wrong). I used a Futaba 9402 alloy gears servo so was a bit heavier than the esc on the other side of the chassis.

Also relating to your chassis, I had a chat with Fibre Lyte and as you know that chassis you have is definately my design and was only sold as Fibrelyte were approached and asked if they could sell the chassis to the public, and I stupidly agreed but didnt get anything for it which is a pity, still cant grumble as other people are using it and was nice seeing other people using something I designed.

Im having a new one made and will look nice with my new designed rear carbon fibre gearbox with B4 slipper clutch. I will post pictures when I finally get my chassis.

Great news, ive been approached by the chap who has my original and very first tub chassis. He broke it which is a pity as he didnt realise a screw came lose at the front and it caught on something and riped the front section off, however he is sending to me so should speed up the mold process at fibre lyte. I hope to have a tub chassis by Jan/Feb next year.

Are those wheels you have not the car still available new?

How good a fit was the bodyshell against the tub?

HPI Star Dish wheels may or may not be available new, depending on which size they are.

That looks sinister....being all black. Those hip wheels are no longer made. They made 2.2 fronts (narrow) and matching rears. You may be able to fit the new 2.2s...but you'll have to cut the fronts to use the narrow tires.

I have a Carbon Fibre tub pretty much identical to that which I got recently and will be starting a build shortly.
I have a brand new Tomcat shell but it does not seem to fit quite right, though I suspect that once I cut the shell out it will have a little more give in it. You can also see the front sections of the side have been cut away, maybe to make it a better fit.

The wheels from the 1/10th nitro which the name ive forgotten had white and black 2.2wheels available made by kyosho so would advise finding out what buggy it was and search for the manual and part numbers.

The shell should fit as the chassis's were all made by fibrelyte and all based on my original design, the only change was the only chassis layout not allowed to be sold was my original version holes and cell layout. The shell will be a tight fit and you will find you will need to be precise in cutting the section around the steering area.

Do the wheels you are referring to have a mesh design to them, if so I have a set of those in black set aside for my tub project

Just did a Google image search, those are the wheels I have. My ZX is minding them in the meantime.
