I support the "leave it as a truck" movement, buggies are great and everyone should have one (and most do

) early truck conversions built like yours are few and far between and oh so cool imo. The chassis is probably in such good condition because them there big wheels have kept it well away from the deck and the body looks to be in nice nick as well
See this link for a few more, when you get your's sorted for the shelf add some photos to the thread.

Hello everyone, well I moved some things around on the truck. Following everyones advice and looking at a few pics here. No more losing control problem and motor has more power, steering seems better also. Took the ESC apart and cleaned it with some contact cleaner and canned air. It's not perfect for sure but way better than it was. You can look at the before pics at beginning of the thread and I'll post one here for an easy comparrison. I'm sort of proud of myself as I've never tried anything like this before but I'm sure I'll receive some constructive criticism which is appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary

Forgot to mention I will be shortening the battery pack wires a bit and soldering on a Deans connector. Would have done it today but I didn't feel like heading to the LHS after a hard day of fun! (lol)
