Jay

I just want to had a correction at the previous informations about Team Losi Motor plate
4 issue and not 3 released

-The original motor plate looks the following part, without label and without cut in front

Image

-The second fit just the JRx2 label on rear

Image

-The third fit the JRx2 label and a cut in front to insert the new inner camber link of the rear bulkhead

Image

-The fourth and last fit a new label Team Losi Performance and the same cut in front

Image

And that's all for the Motor Plate story !

To complete your request, this is the JRx2 Box family

If you need more, ask me :!:

Cedric, Thanks for the info. Related to the boxes, I wanted to get close up/high res photos of the Pro, the Pro SE, and the Junior 2. I would like shots of each of the box sides that features an image of the painted body, so that I can see the colors and details of the paint schemes. I am going to be painted each of mine up box art. sixdub was going to take some pics, but I will take them from anyone (he also does not have the J2 box). Any help would be appreciated and you can email the images directly to me or post a link where I can download/save the image. Whatever is easier. Thanks in advance.

Doh! Forgot about the cutout to clear the inner ballcups on the later release cars. Thanks kenooze.

The early no-logo motor plate is also differentiated in that it should not have the notch cut out on the front edge for clearance around the ball cup for the rear suspension upper rod as IIRC, the rear bulkhead on the original car did not have holes here, only the outboard holes for short upper links.

I have an early JRX-2 with a blank motor plate, but the rear shock tower has holes, and both are original from when I bought the car back then (89' I think). I think it probably depended on when R&D implemented changes in their production process. Then newly designed parts were included on the fly during packaging, as probably what happened with my kit. Nice pics.

I was going to jump in on the motor plate issue. I had one of the first JRX-2's that were released (and it had the blank motor plate). It was a display car at my LHS. The other thing it had, which I have yet to see again, was a metal front bulkhead.

I sold the buggy thinking I was going to "modernize" my fleet and it's been my biggest regret. I want to get another JRX-2 but there's no way I'm going to find that metal bulkhead again. Gotta find some pictures. I'm not sure if it was a custom fabricated part, didn't look like it.
