the biggest downfall for the junior series was the shock towers...... well the front one anyway. lots of flex, but i never managed to break one. the lack of adjustable turnbuckles sucked too. but, even if they were, most serious racers would've upgraded those to titanium anyway. the other issue was the lack of bearings for the axles. the early junior kits came with bearings only in the trans. my original one was like that, but the later version i picked up has bushings. there's other differences too (older vs. newer) that it think anthony pointed out in another thread.

anthony, what logo is on your motor plate? the one i have now has the team losi performance script. but i kinda remember my original having the jrx2 script. could be wrong, though. i'm pretty sure yours in an early version, correct?

This is an early one with bearings in the transmission, and a jrx-2 motor plate. It also has the lighter silver shocks just like the x2/xt.

Boxart stickering is going to be challenging.
It looks like they used the grill, naturals, revolution, and U.S.A. from a jrx-t sticker sheet, and the Team losi checkered flag logo from a jrx-pro sheet(which I don't have),
The Tru-pitch gear logo has orange lettering, which I havn't seen on any sticker sheet that I have.
The only stickers on the boxart from the actual junior-T sheet appear to be the junior-T logos and hood pins/gas filler cap.

sounds good to me, have at it. I've got the feeling it is going to go higher than I want to spend anyway, I've not seen one of those sheets available before.

I decided to just use the stickers that it came with rather than to try to piece together a true boxart set as the paint is not exactly boxart anyway.
I think it came out pretty well. The novus stuff does a great job at shining up the old lexan. I haven;t drilled any holes yet and am unsure if I will mount the wing on the truck bed.

That looks awesome Anthony! I say leave the wing off, looks like a proper truck that way. Kind of like the old pic's of King Cab's, Hi Lux's, Outlaw Ultima's etc BITD when they were state of the art.
