Yup, that is the first ascent. last one is the worst.

I bought the Revo's before I knew what I wanted for my Jeep. Spring time and the new muds are coming.

i gave the samurai a little beef in the rear...

i have a just as burly spare tire and hilift mount, that came with it, but having to break off all the old bumper bolts and manhandle the new bumper was all i could manage. i also have a transfer case bucket and beefy tranny mount that i didnt get too yet. got a locker too, but i think i might save that for the front and just weld the rear... did i mention i bought a 'lil welder? 8)

a jeep yj leaf conversion is next. then 33's. then most likely power steering.

Lookin tuff there BH. I missed out on a little samurai awhile back from one of the guys that worked for me when he left for college. Been wanting one and missed out on it by a day or two. I think you gonna have yourself some 'real' fun once you get setup  . Might want to add a partial/full rollcage in there though....just a thought.

i put a locker in the rear this weekend as well as a couple other things.
i dunno about the locker... i know it will rule on the trails, but in the city it blows, and 98% of my driving is in the city. maybe i just need to drive on it more to get the hang of it. i suppose it wouldnt be too hard to swap out the week before a trip to the trails.
it does seem like it drives alot better going straight now. :P

i've also cut most of the ugly off the rocker panels and mounted the rocker knockers up about an inch or two higher. i also got some used plastic flares to replace the rusty metal ones and cleaned the fenderwells up. the front wasnt that bad, but both of the rear fenderwells were pretty rusty under the old flares where it meets up with the quarterpanels. nothing some cutting & cleaning up and alot of bondo hair couldnt fix...

uhhh... i left the camera in the garage. ironic now that it's now somewhat picture worthy...

i wonder how dang obnoxious its gonna be tommorow in the parking garage.

Isn't that why you put the locker in in the first place?

went to the same place again this weekend with 3 jeep yj's.
we were the only people dumb enough to go wheelin' in that kind of weather. but it was cool. the creeks and the mud holes all frozen over, and its pretty darn fun to drive on top of a frozen creek while it breaks underneath. :D

it was cold and slickery, but fun. and the locker was awesome.

here's a couple pics some of the guys i went with took. in the last one with me stopped on the hill i was the only dude who made it up the other side, 2 guys had to be winched and the last took a bypass trail to do the winching. i made it the last 10 or so feet after i sat for a long while waiting for the winch and my tires cooled down. i figured i'd try it one last time, and suprisingly it just zipped right up. ;)

total newbie mistake with me starting down the hill before the other guy was done tryin... :|

What the?!?!? When was THAT invented? :? :? :?

I've gone from shaving daily to once a week or when I think I might get lucky, whichever might happen first.   On the one hand, I use less razor blades, but on the other, the few I do use don't last as long as they used to. LOL
