Thanks Man, i havent had much time lately, i did make the side rails, and prep it for powdercoating, havent had time to take it over there yet to get it colored, working on making a aluminum support beam for the bottom of the chassis too to add some stiffness. was running the car without any tube chassis and just the cut plastic, and it has some flex. pics soon

well been running it around for the last couple days, got a 3s lipo, mamba sidewinder 5700, spektrum reciever for it, it really really hauls ass, i spun a set of glued tires off it when i was setting up the transmitter, gotta check on pinion sizes lol, think im running a 22 tooth with stock spur, which is the default setup for a 19t motor.. mounted up a hotshot metal antenna in the back for looks. going to order up some rims and tires and beat this puppy in the dirt soon
anyway, next time i post pics its gonna be powdercoated orange and a silver wing.

well i havent taken any fresh pics in a while, and not much has changed, but i threw some new wheels/rubber on here (also added chrome polished shock caps - no pics lol), action shots this week. was just running this around my street, with the mamba 5700 and the 3s lipo, this thing HAULS. had to use the red springs for the extra weight, and they are the perfect fit, car handles wonderful. Gonna try and take this down to the beach this weekend
i made a custom orange "nose peice" that ill be adding on later tonight, dont want to leave the ugly front as it is. Bending and shaping it now without slicing my fingers into cheese

thanks guys, wanted something different for a fun basher/runner.. and since i dont race my B4 anymore (i switched to the RB5 completely, what a great car), i chopped up this guy to make this lol. i threw some proline headlights on it last night, and finished the front orange plate by the shock tower.
i also ordered there, mostly for looks lol.

Hi:
What is that cage made of? Copper tube or aluminium?
Also, did you powder coat it or paint?
Good job anyway.

cage is made from 3/16" steel tube, better know as stainless steel brake line. its light, and once hardened, very strong.
easy to work with.
i painted this one because i wanted to be able to repaint it, in case i scratch it up badly, i dont need to repowdercoat it, i can just reprime/spray.
