Yep nuffin the matter with that shell, I think I might extend the window masking back a bit (personal choice) cool shell.
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

Re: where to get repo bodies for YOKOMO
I've been after repros of the YZ-10 "squashed bug" shell for a while now (1991 model and onwards). I recently bought a repro made by a guy I know through racing. I believe he's only created them for his own use, and as Matt (YZ-10) pointed out to me, they're not perfect due to a mix of features from various models.
So, I'm still looking, and if MrLexan or anyone else is reproducing either this shell, or the classic Japanese 870C shell, put me down for 4 or 5

hopefully keith @ kamtec will have the ones i sent copied soon, i spoke to him yesterday as it had been 3 months since we last spoke, and he said he will get onto it asap. so yeah as soon as they are done i'll let you guys know and you can order though keith. he is producing both types for me with the small and large scoop and the undertray as well. i did ask at the time if he can also do them in standard thickness lexan and the thinner lexan as an option as the 93 and 95 yokomo shells were lightweight

Re: where to get repo bodies for YOKOMO
Hi guys!
I'm new of this forum (Welcome!! Thanks!!).
My first impression is there is really a lot of information on every possible aspect of our fanrtastic hobby, so it seems to be a nice place to stay!
I also am looking for a repro body for the 870C.
The first I saw is the one made by kamtec, which is nice though does not have the scoop.
However I have a question for those of you who know or have that body:
The undertray sides are not exactly parallel, I emailed Keith about this, and he says they are convergent toward the front (max width 151mm, min 144mm).
However the 870c chassis has parallel sides, so the question is: does that undertray fit the 870C?
? Or it has been designed to fit a different chassis?
Please help, I am ready to start a 870C restoration!
Thanks!!

Re: where to get repo bodies for YOKOMO
Welcome to the board slazzaro. Just about all the Yokomo bodies have been reproed and are currently available. Since you are a first time poster you haven't seen the thread in which I am referring to, it will take you some time to get there, but please review the following: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=909 . Also, if you can't wait, they are periodically on ebay, so keep checking there.
Again, welcome and have fun.

Hi mrlexan!
I surely can wait, and I surely will keep checking on ebay for your repro bodies.
Anyway I would like to fix my curiosity about the undertray sides..
By looking at the undertray of your repro the sides seems parallel, let's see if some kamtec body owner will give me an answer..
Currently I am experiencing the "panic due to too much information": what topic to read first?
Thanks, bye!
