Anymore? I've never seen one painted like that in the flesh!

Very nice work.

Daryl, when was it painted and by whom, if the memory still serves? I know mine probably wouldn't

Memory doesn't look to be the problem

probably in the late '80ies

Daryl, did you guys produce all the bodies for Traxxas or take over at a certain point? I had a new body for my LS2 when I was gearing up for the NORCCA nats in about 96 and it had A&L molded into the back of it
Thanks
Mark

Oops, not his memory but mine. Many times don't read the post close enough. Thanks David for pointing that out and no need for Daryl to respond.

I'm sure Daryl will answer the release date question much better than me though

Not that I'll be able to be there, but it would be really neat if there was a concourse event at the vintage nationals with only vintage paint schemes. None of that Traxxas tribal garbage that seems to be the only thing out there...but paint schemes from the late 80s. You know, that Miami Vice type of stuff.

Greg painted for us from 91 to 93 and we sold a ton of pre-painted bodies by Greg - they were not hard to sell even at $45.00 whole sale back then. He did some with floating bubbles on them that where really sweet, but my favorite was the piling off paint from the wind speed going over the body. I wish I still had one or two of those to take pictures of for you guys.
We did make the Traxxas LS bodies it was a reworked copy of this one, we also sold a bunch of them to Losi one year before the NORRCA Nats for their whole team to run. If my memory serves me correct that nats was two or three months after the Slam It Lows release so it was the best body at that race.......
Thought I would put up a close up of the detail His shadows were the best bar none!

Great stuff Daryl! If you run across even pictures of the others, please post them.
