Thought not Scr8p no probs.scr8p wrote: unfortunately, i got my A4 and S40 mixed up (must be the meds). it doesn't look like hpi had a volvo S40. sorry about that.
I've got a Factory works 740 esate which I bought from the same guy so it's a possibility, where is Daryl anywaywyldbill wrote:daryl lane/factory works also made volvo sedan bodies at one time. mabey its one of his, i never saw one but they may still be listed on his website.

You can send Daryl a pm right here. He'll see it sometime soon and respond and as far as location he's in Corona, California. I just bought some stuff from him through pm so it does work just takes a little time. His id here is Daryl Lane and his website url is http://www.factoryworks.com. I hope this helps.

My first assumption when I saw your pic was that it was the old HPI A4 Audi. Looks like it could be it.

Re: 190mm body identification?
Schumacher UK still list a set of S40 decals so i reckon it was one of theirs, maybe shoot them an email for a pic of decals, then they might know of a shell hanging about?
U2185 Decal Sheet - Volvo S40
http://www.racing-cars.com
search under product categories - bodyshells
Decals are in stock here, fitted an SST sport I reckon from the part numbers
