Ok, so now I'll have 3 in a matter of 4 days  ... I'm thinking I rebuild one with the best parts for a shelf queen (if it's possible with what I'm given) and then build a second car as a modernized siebenelch car and sell the third car after a complete cleanup and rebuild of it to recoupe some cash. I'll have to see if that plan is possible once they arrive.

Lots of nice little jewelry in those two. With a nice tub and a body/wing, you could really build one VERY nice car from those parts. And those white nylon pieces look VERY salvageable.

Nice score! When is the other one supposed to arrive? We need to get you over to the man room to start the restoration on one of those bad boys. :D

Yeah, they were on both cars. You can really tell that the previous owner was really going after weight savings. Had aluminum screws, plastic nuts and spacers whenever possible, the hacked graphite, the titanium tie rods, etc... I'm in the teardown process of both of them at the moment and will hopefully be getting the third car I ordered to piece together a real peach. I'll post pics of the third car when I get it.

I was going to say, that is a pretty Narrow chassis? Aftermarket or hack, but you answered it!

Nice score. can't wait to see its progression.

Here are some better pics of the first car. The chassis is as good as any used car has. There is a very small scratch on the tail and it looks like it was rear ended a little on the motor guard, but other than that it's VERY clean underneath. It's going to be an AWESOME start to a rebuild.

An update.... So here is another byproduct of the auctions I won. I picked some of the parts of the 3 cars I won on ebay to do my Houge build and then I took the rest of the best parts from the 3 cars won to do my Siebenelch build (not 100% complete yet) which I'll post pics later on. So after that build I still had a lot of nice parts left over. So with the addition of an MIP diff and some other parts I was able to acquire I was able to build this gold tub car. The chassis isn't pristine underneath so I guess it would classify as a "runner", but all I really wanted to do was have a good platform to put the Turbo Mirage body I bought onto with respect to another car I had when I was a kid. 8) So here is my "leftover" car... leftover parts, leftover electronics, etc... Talk about making lemonade from lemons!
