Done. It has been a long week. After seeing everyone's "work", I have some ideas from the parts bin for future entries. There were some tired cars posted.

Lots of nice POS's for the first competition. Like an epic used car lot

Yup I agree. It was my intention for it to be interpreted either way hehe

The chassis is bent like a banana and has blown out holes for the rear arm mounts. But I felt like it needed one more chance.

Interesting way to play the field.

That reminds me of the rust bucket Detomaso Pantera that someone had as a barn find a while back.

Well, I drove my JRX-POS with intent to get video of it and of course the camera decided to not record and I predictably broke the car, nothing major just an endlink and the bulkhead cracked (which is just going to get glued back together),but still frustrating to realize after you packed everything up that you didn't record any of it.
Updated my picture of it though, seemed more fitting for a POS to be dirty.

It's interesting to see what everyone considers to be a POS. Lack of premium parts, or battered and beaten.
Some are pretty nice rigs, some are barely hanging together. There are some fixes that I wouldn't have thought of, like GrePo's washers replacing a wheel bearing. I feel bad for the axle though, if it's aluminum.

We now have the two extremes. Just like how we enjoy seeing nice builds in the BOTM, we can enjoy seeing what is considered POS here. I am sure someone will also eventually have something with a unique look that would be competitive in both the BOTM and POS threads.

The bearing clearence is not absorbed radially by the axle, because the inner diameter of the "bearings" is so lange that the gap is absorbed axially by the nut. Theoretically...If the nut is tightened firmly...so that the wheel almost stops turning

Actually got short video of the JRX-POS. updated the post with it. The self welded diff and self unwelded itself at the end. But that was to be expected out of the pile it was made from.
Also the car keeps getting worse and worse bodged together. I have a feeling it may be a regular contestant here

The double camera video is cool! It's nicely synced too.
Voters, remember you get 2 selections but you have to pick them both before pushing Submit.

Shame my dirt video didn't actually record. Also shame no one else has video, how are we supposed to know these things work?

I'm still a week away from getting running video of mine. It's at home and I'm not. But agreed, POS running video is encouraged!
