What Type Of Nylon Is Used On AE Vehicles?

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

That’s how it’s done!!

I dabble in material selection of injection molded resins; the discussion is pretty boring without the excitement of destructive testing! Some things you can’t quantify either…some materials stress whiten or have things happen because of the part design.
So the actual testing in the application is still very important.

This is a fun discussion because it goes back to a time where the material supplier was an OEM and there wasn’t hundreds of other petrochemical suppliers battling to sell a less expensive off-name commodity with similar specifications.
