Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Looking through the documentary “RC10 the winning edge with Jammin’ Jay Halsey” I noticed two more decals on the rear of the body. Some other small details emerged as Jay’s father Jim talked about geometry, weight distribution, tires and electronics.
I know Jay and his father did many alterations over time on the car so this tribute build is more of a mashup of everything = not time specific.

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Looks great!
I'd try to lower the body a bit more since you have the chassis cut that would facilitate it. It might be the camera view throwing me off though.

Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Thanks RogueIV,
The body cant sitt lower unless you modify the rear shock tower.
It might be that the pic is missleading due to stance. I have no electronics in it.
Here's a pic with some weight in it.

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
The Jammin Jay Halsey edition is done!
The final bits came in the mail yesterday. The Yokomo wing buttons. I did use transparent double sided tape on the wing for a cleaner look.
This was a good build. Lots of metal work and small details to address. Some appeared under the build when you really study details. I really like the look of it. Jay knows how to build a good looking car
Thank you

I just built the Jammin Jay replica. Who makes a spring set it? The silver ones that came with the kit seem too stiff.. Thanks guys!
