Who knows for sure. Just strange that two analyzers messed up in the same way using those 3.5R motors.

I haven't tried to match real world performance to the numbers I am seeing on the analyzer, but it has been interesting.

For example, I expected the identical Reedy motors would be about equal to one another and the LRP would be much better. I was wrong on both accounts.

Reedy 7.5 41,500 RPMs at 2.9 amps at 27 degrees
Identical Reedy 7.5 38,700 RPMs at 4.0 amps at 25 degrees
New LRP 7.5 41,500 RPMs at 3.1 amps at 26 degrees

Another example is two HobbyWing Justock fixed timing motors- a 10.5 and a 13.5- testing about even. It appears as though HW sets the timing to achieve 25k RPMs. So the 10.5 isn't actually faster, but it would allow you to run a taller gear.

10.5 25,700 RPMs at 1.4 amps
13.5 25,000 RPMs at 4.0 amps

Also interesting to me is this 13.5 Reedy. I bought it in 2016 and have run it ever since. I've had it in many different buggies over the years. It still seems to be running well.

24,500 RPMs at 1.9 amps at 30 degrees
25,000 RPMs at 2.5 amps at 36 degrees
26,100 RPMs at 3.1 amps at 38 degrees (this is how I left it)
28,400 RPMs at 5.2 amps at 40 degrees
