Or you could ditch the DD and use a combo of gears and sprocket on a jack shaft. Either engine sprocket to spur sprocket to pinion gear to spur gear on wheel/axle....or the more common engine pinion to spur gear to pinion sprocket to spur sprocket on wheel/axle.
Your idea of flipping the chassis over is it...half way there, working out fine (except exhaust header mods)...it has to have a chain drive, that's the whole point of the build!

Got it fixed...test drove it too...gonna do a new body, pipe fits inside the body now

Blew the clutch bell apart today...but early indications are huge speed...never got above 10% throttle...Thumbs has vid....will get it printed in metal and retest

Here's the video of the test run at almost no throttle due to the plastic pieces. It sounds like they're yelling at each other but that's just how they communicate with one another all the time.

on a plastic printed clutch bell ! Top marks I'll see if I can complete the parts list next weekend , had to work Saturday so not much progress this weekend , then you can get that metal clutch bell printed.

Got the metal clutchbell designed by Dadio on...it fixed the clutch issue...drives great...will make a few speed runs at next Fest
