I made the three hour trip today and picked up this rc10 from the guy, real nice guy, knew it's history, everything.

I'm kinda speechless right now lol, I'll have to make a separate post about all of this, I'm just in shock right now that I own an original rc10 after all these years of them slipping through my fingers .

It's definitely an antique, smells old and has a bit of dust on it lol. I can see it will clean up to as new appearance. All it needs is a dusting. The tires are a bit stiff, but not at all dry rot.
The motor indeed has never been installed, because the screws for it are still originally stapled in it's little bag. The wires are not even soldered on.
All the manuals are here, everything.

More later guys when I have a chance to take a good video and pictures. ..

P.S. I just figured out what this straight piece of wire is. I guess it needs to be bent into shape for the wing according to the manual.

That's a great buy IMO. It's basically a time capsule!
