I used oven cleaner in the past to remove existing anodizing but this was years ago, I'm not sure if the cleaners are the same as they were back then..
You want the yellow can. Real Easy-Off seems better than the off brands but definitely has a stronger odor.
I have even used the Dollar Tree brand. It takes more time but still gets the job done.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
Does anyone know where I can get the gold-ish/yellow anodized screws that screw through the bottom of the old gold tub? I've had to return a couple orders now to different sellers because their pictures show the gold screws but what I keep getting...

The color of the vintage 8/32 screws varied widely from greenish to goldish. The classic rere came with screws that are very greenish. Been my experience that snap easily.
I have recently inherited a gold anodized RC100. Will show it and would like to get some feedback on what would be the best way to restore it if possible. I was intrigued when I got it, as I have seen my father piecemeal this when I was...

Sorry for the double post,
I was able to find a link to some more manuals, the manual for the RC100 and the RC200 turns out to be very similar. I now have a more clear direction on taking the car apart to reassemble it.

I've had this chassis safely tucked away for well over ten years. My plan was always to find a matching nose plate and build a shelf queen with it. Today I was comparing it to all of my other RC10 parts and ... well ... what is it?

I have black nose tubes and a black Litespeed Litesink for the build. I'm not so sure about using a black nose plate though...
Hi everyone, can anyone tell me what is this chassis? I've never seen it anywhere, it is blue anodized and milled everywhere, even under the tranny, the two rear holes that receive the screws attached to the motor plate are also milled... anyone?
I am curious other then the gold anodized chassis what other colors were there? I have seen blue ones and Ebay has a green one that the seller lists as a rare version but are these just custom anodized tubs? I am more interested in knowing what came...
