I had a crack in my Traxxas Radicator expert chassis once. I used epoxy PLUS some woves glass matts to fix it. turned out pretty good...

I'll post pics when I get back home...

i got the body trimmed up a little bit, and put in some radio gear. hopefully, i'll get it to the off road track before it starts snowin'. i know it's just dying to get lauched off some jumps. it's gettin' closer.

it's definately ratty. the one good thing about this car is, i don't really care what happens to it. i always have plans after re-doing a car, that i'm gonna drive it. then i take it outside, and i get all nervous that something is gonna happen to it. so i bring it back in the house, and there it sits. so, now i got one to rip around with.

all mine end up too precious too.

i've often thought about building a sacrificial rc10 and just launching it over a bus or something, just to see what the aftermath is like.

(a wicked contest idea just popped into my head...)

jump that roof Scr8p, RC10's are so robust you would not break anything  and take some videos while doing it, it could be pretty cool

8-10 runs on the $35 RC10 before any damage. One too many full speed launches stripped a rear shock rod end and bent the piston. Price paid for launching my homemade pseudo DS. I can't resist... MUST... JUMP... SOMETHING. That's why you have spares.

i guarantee it will take only one jump to throughly mess this car up. i found the launch site for it. can you say...........skatepark?

once i get a motor plate for it, i'm gonna work on finding the right gearing to get the most speed out of the car, with the area i'll have to deal with.

i'm gonna get a video of the jump and i hope it looks good on the first try, because i don't think there'll be a second attempt.

well, i got a motor plate, so the trans is in. no lhs have the nose brace tubes, though. so, instead of waiting to order some, i bought some k&s 3/16 aluminum rod and made my own. it should beef the front end up a little more, since they're solid rods. and they only cost me $ .90. :D
