Good movie. Watched it in the theatre and purchased the blu-ray when it was released on the format.

Have many books on the GT40 , and the most important person to the developement of that stunning race car was Ken Miles.

It was also true that Miles could be "difficult" to handle , and the feud between Miles and the executive from FORD was a reality.

I agree.
In many ways, Ken Miles reminds me of Chuck Yeager.
Miles was to Ford's LeMans program what Yeager was to the Mercury space program.
Both were test pilots who pushed their vehicles to the absolute limit and in doing so, advanced the technology toward the ultimate objective -- and but both could be little difficult at times.

Watched it as soon as it was released on blu-ray. Great flick. I've heard the film wasn't butchered up/overly dramatized like many true story based hollywood films end up being. That was nice. This is one of those movies I'll watch over and over periodically.

I finally watched it last month. Being a life long gearhead/car guy, I have to admit I was not looking fwd to Matt Damon playing Carol Shelby, just seemed like a really poor choice to play Carol. But I can admit when I am wrong, and thankfully, I was way wrong. Damon actually did a really good job playing him surprisingly. I figured it would be a good movie, but it was even better than I expected it to be.
