I'm starting to find more and more deteriorated plastics and places that could do with a little rework , all the top suspension mounts that screw to the chassis are breaking up where the ball stud for the shock top fits , also the design makes the shock meet the ball stud at an angle that promotes it popping the ball joint off.
So I've started work on a new set of top arm mounts with a slight angle for the ball stud and a new mount to reposition the bottom mount to align the shock better.

Top suspension mount with angled fitting for ball stud.
Lower mount also angled.

Looks great so far.
Do I spy some 3D printing wizardry on the steering bellcranks?

Very pleased indeed ! The new diiff gear sets not only had steel pinions but also steel sun gears that are fitted with a circlip rather than the push fit onto the out drive of the originals, the kit also included the new out drives ! Also the crown gears although still plastic are a different type of plastic that's less opaque , I just could not get a picture that captured it .

Great build! You are giving me inspiration to resume my Coyote. It is interesting to see all the variations in parts.
I was looking at these round stick batteries..the size is right.

That Li iron battery is only 15C , OK for a low power Airsoft gun at a pinch or for a rock crawler maybe but not really enough for a buggy , I guess if you wired two in parallel it would look right and double the C rating to 30C but that's still only just enough if your not racing , don't let that put you off finishing your build though

Yeah, I was thinking of using 2 in parallel.. But at this point, I think my Coyote is just going to be a shelfer. I have had problems with the arms breaking and bulkheads splitting at the screws. I have extra parts but don’t want to proceed without a solution. I have read about boiling the plastics to soften them up again.. Have you had any problems with the plastics?

some of the plastic parts had split , notably the top shock mounts but they were really thin and badly designed also the steering bell cranks were very thin where the ball studs fitted and had split , I've not run mine yet as I'm waiting for some tires to arrive so i don't know how the arms are going to be but they are a very soft flexible plastic much like the PB Mini Mustang and they were meant to be boiled before use so it might be worth trying .
