Personally I wouldnt bother with going to all the hastle of stripping it, and just paint it on the outside..
Its not like a seven year old will even notice, or care for that matter..

Ironically, I've been thinking about this topic for a few days now. Steve posted some links to the older Associated manuals and on the 3rd part of the worlds car manual, Associated states that they use a Synthetic Reducer to remove paint from the lexam body.
I haven't had time to research this (go to the auto parts store), but the theory may hold some water if a major manfacturer puts it in writing in the back of their build manual.
Anyone ever try this?
