His prices are very reasonable. Especially when you consider he currently has the market cornered at the moment. Overseas shipping is always crazy unless its from china, but dont get me started with politics. lol Like you said bigger orders usually absorb the shipping costs.

Shipping costs are ridiculous.
It was under $13 shipping for three bodies, wings and an under tray shipped from overseas- to me that was a bargain. I have paid that much for domestic shipping on small items.
The cheapest I can ship overseas is $13 as well.
Shipping for my three bodies (two were the same) cost $23.29 and considering the weight and size of the package I think that's too much no matter where it comes from.

Must be due to the weight. Anything I ship over 8oz overseas ( up to 2 pounds) is $23, which would be in line with that cost.

Protech Penguin body...
A close look at the length of this body will show just about how short I found this one to be.
Over 1/2" shorter ( Edit: about .4" shorter) than my original protech that came with my 6016. Nosepiece to front of body shows the problem.
Quality.... a 7.
It does fit over the pan but no room to spare.
Also numerous small bumps/imperfections.

Wow. That does look pretty short. I might have to order just one and see what the quality is like.

If all three bodies had been different, shipping would have been $34.93. Shipping costs are reduced if you order multiples - I assume this is due to nesting.

So the one I gave the item number for above isn’t a Protech?
That's it. I wonder why it doesn't show on his items for sale list.
For what it's worth, after switching over to my MacBook Pro, I can see the Protech body listed on Steve's ebay page.
I had the same issue the other day when I was looking for the B2 body.
It must have something to do with Windows10 and Google chrome. I guess, I don't know, I'm not an IT expert -- or even an IT novice.

The ones I ordered were all different tho. Might be a problem with the eBay calculator (as I honestly would have expected it to cost more)
That is disappointing to hear the protech is shorter than stock. I hope the others are more accurate. I should have nabbed a protech II and a couple others at the same time.

Hey Jeff, don't you have some old A&L molds?

No, the A&L molds still belong to Chris and he does pull a few of them once in a while. The Factory Works molds I own are down with Andy gathering dust and being ignored lol

I'll post the length of the Penguin Protech II when they arrive - for anyone who's interested.
I don't have an actual AE copy so I have no idea what is the correct length for that body.

A length comparison
Andy's on left, Original ( 1988-1989 Edinger) center and Penguin on right.
Penguin about .4" shorter than Edinger and Andy's slightly longer than Penguin.
So the Penguin is somewhat longer than I first estimated.
