Speaking of bad car wrecks, last night around a major intersection in town there was a really bad one. I only saw the aftermath, but one car was on fire(6 ft flames, my dad says), and another car was legit ON IT'S SIDE!
Yeah, it was pretty nasty. It looked like no one got hurt, but I'm not sure. They had police, firefighters, and an ambulance or two.
Y'all stay safe this holiday season!

Just last week there was a very bad crash involving two four wheel drives, one pulling a trailer full of wood, and a third car in my previous town of residence, quite similar to this, and that ended quite badly. The four wheel drive with the trailer turned over, launching the trailer almost head-on into the second four wheel drive, which was then hit by the third car. The car that got hit by the trailer was half its original length on the left side only, with the female driver crushed into a paste - the driver's seat was barely recognisable under the engine half that had been pushed back

Witnesses described that the four wheel drive with the trailer had been swerving like mad way before the accident...damn morons.
So yeah, you were really lucky there.

Thanks Dave - whiplash and concussion taking longer than I had hoped, but progress continues.

Good to hear you're healing, sorry to hear you had to go through that bad of a wreck. I may sound old but I am getting to the point I almost hate to get out anymore because you just can't trust people and the way they drive these days. Makes you wonder what the driver of that truck was thinking/doing that made him run two lights at that rate of speed.

Yep that would be my first guess. People today act like they can't drive without a phone in one hand. I gave up using a cell phone 16 yrs ago and haven't owned one since, was one of the best decisions I have ever made for quality of life.

Two year anniversary today. Back to baseline for the most part, though neck pain comes and goes.
